About Dipendra Jha

Dipendra Jha is the first Chief Attorney of Madhes Pradesh. An LLM Graduate from Nepal Law Campus, TU and a second master’s from Bradford University, UK and a third Master in Human Rights Law from Mahidol University, Thailand, with adequate experience in the public interest and strategic litigation with a special focus on social inclusion, human rights and constitutional law. He has done IVLP course in rule of law from USA and IHL course from Switzerland along with two human rights courses one from Brazil and another from Mexico. He took initiative to register an Early Day Motion in the British Parliament against discrimination of Madhesi and played leading role in drafting Pradesh civil Service Act, State Police Act, Dalit Empowerment Act along with the Civil Service Regulation and O&M of the Madesh Pradesh.
